We kindly request your support to continue and expand all four of our flagship initiatives: Shakthi, We are excited to launch our Shakthi program with our first winter cohort, comprising six batches of women; Sow The Future, which supports sustainable agriculture; Aid & Care, which addresses and offers need-based support to vulnerable groups such as the orphaned and semi-orphaned children, elderly and sanitation workers; and our Disaster Response efforts, ensuring we can provide immediate humanitarian aid when needed.
Samatha
Initiative
A Local Self-Governance Model
The Samatha initiative focuses on building grassroots local self-governance institutions, which serve as the backbone for the implementation of all our programs, ensuring their sustainability and success. Our aim is to run all our programs through village-level committees and federations, ensuring accountability. Our rural areas are fragmented into multiple hamlets, and our initiative targets these most grassroots areas, empowering them with the skills and knowledge to tackle their challenges and effectively liaise with Panchayats.
Unnathi
Human Rights Education Model
Unnathi is our most ambitious project so far. It is a human rights education initiative designed to integrate human rights into the curriculum. After a successful pilot in 2017, where we reached hundreds of students across high schools and junior colleges in rural Chittoor district, we now aim to systematize it into a full-fledged education program with our proprietary modules and textbooks. With your support, we can make human rights education accessible to all, helping the next generation understand their rights and build a more equitable society.
